Lake Nottely is located in North Georgia near Blairsville. The lake is 20 miles long and has 106 miles of shoreline and 4,180 surface acres at normal summer pool elevations. The Chattahoochee National Forest, which borders a substantial portion of the lake, adds to the scenic quality of the area. The water level of Lake Nottely varies about 17 feet during a normal year. Due the the shallow nature of certain areas of the lake, lakefront homesite selection is especially critical here.
